Dr. Oladele Ajayi is an experienced business executive with over 30 years of experience in FMCG. He started his career with Nigerian Breweries PLC after graduating from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a doctorate degree in Mechanical & Process Engineering. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
Over his career, he held several senior positions within Heineken’s operations in Africa and Europe as well as in Nigerian Breweries PLC. He also functioned as Special Adviser to the Federal Minister for Industry Trade and Investment.
Dr. Ajayi returned to the private sector as the Managing Director for UAC Foods Limited (UFL) in 2018; a role he played until December 31, 2022. He serves in a senior advisory capacity for UAC of Nigeria PLC. Dr. Ajayi was appointed to the Board of Grand Cereals on March 21, 2023.
