Mrs. Emanuel a highly accomplished Lawyer and businesswoman obtained her LL.B from the prestigious University of Ife, Ile Ife in 1983 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. She obtained her LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics (LSE), University of London.
She started her career with the Federal Ministry of Justice as a Pupil State Counsel and served in various ministries as Assistant Legal Adviser and then Legal Adviser. She left the Ministry after meritoriously serving for more than twenty (20) years and established a legal consultancy firm.
She has versed experience in the legal profession and her experience spans Insurance, Marine and International Business law. She has a good understanding of the Nigerian economy.
Mrs. Emanuel has previously served on a number of boards and currently sits on the board of Grand Cereal limited, and Jieman Prospects Limited. She is the chairman of the Board of NLPC PFA and Ligabue Catering Services.
