Dr. Vitus Ezinwa
Managing Director

Dr. Ezinwa is a seasoned business manager and human resource professional. He joined UAC of Nigeria PLC in 2018 as the Group Human Resources Director and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2021 with additional responsibility for Operations, Corporate Communications, Information Technology as well as Human resources.

He has worked as Group Human Resources Director at leading multinational corporations such as Promasidor Africa, Coca-Cola (Nigeria and Equatorial Africa), British American Tobacco (West and Central Africa), and Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group.

He is a co-founder and Director of HR Network Africa and was until 2014, a member of the Lagos Business School’s Advisory Board.

Dr. Ezinwa deploys his rich experience to the development and implementation of appropriate human resource strategies and operations to improve productivity and business performance at Grand Cereals Limited.

He is a member of the Advisory Board of Afterschool Graduate Development Centre, member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) UK.

He joined the Board of Grand Cereals Limited on October 16, 2019 and currently serves as the Managing Director

Ijeoma Uzuana
Company Secretary

Ijeoma is a seasoned corporate attorney with vast experience in corporate and commercial law practice. Ijeoma is a specialist in negotiating complex commercial contracts and settling commercial disputes through alternative dispute resolution.

At her current position at Grand Cereals Limited, she is responsible for providing in-house legal services to the company. 

Ijeoma graduated with a degree in Law from the University of Lagos and has been called to the Nigerian Bar. She has been awarded an LLM (with honors) from the Pritzker School of Law, Northwestern University and has a Certificate in Business Administration from IE Law School (Madrid, Spain). She is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association and Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

Adediran Aderemi
Director, People & Corporate Services

Adediran is an experienced Business Manager with over 20 years of in-depth knowledge and Human Resource experience gained across the FMCG, pharmaceutical, Non-for Profit and manufacturing sectors. 

Adediran holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Philosophy from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Nigeria and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi).

In his current role, Adediran has full responsibility for the continued development and implementation of our business agenda as it relates to People & the Corporate Function.

Adediran Aderemi
Director, People & Corporate Services

Ade is an experienced Business Manager with over 20 years of in-depth knowledge and Human Resource experience gained across the FMCG, pharmaceutical, Non-for Profit and manufacturing sectors. 

Ade holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Philosophy from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Nigeria and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi).

In his current role, Ade has full responsibility for the continued development and implementation of our business agenda as it relates to People & the Corporate Function.

Abiodun Adetayo
Head, Risk & Compliance

Abiodun Adetayo joined Grand Cereals Limited on 1st of November, 2023 to oversee the Risk and Compliance Function of the Company.

Abiodun brings with him a wealth of experience in Risk & Compliance, Internal Control & Audit from over 15 years of holding strategic roles in these fields across various sectors. Prior to his appointment, he worked as Head, Audit, Risk and Compliance in C & I Leasing Plc, where he was responsible for establishing and enforcing control procedures and policies across all aspects of the company’s operations and subsidiaries

Abiodun is a HND holder in Accountancy from Lagos City Polytechnic Ikeja-Lagos State. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a Certified Internal Control Professional from the Internal Control Institute (Florida USA), Certified Risk & Compliance Professional from the International Association of Risk and Compliance (Washington DC USA) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Institute of Management Consultants-Nigeria.

In his current role, Abiodun is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Company’s risk management framework in line with the Company’s risk appetite, across all functions.

Hadiza Abdullahi
Head, Supply Chain Services

Hadiza is an experienced Supply Chain Business Executive with over two decades’ track record of people leadership, strong commercial acumen, and competency in sales, human resource, business process & efficiency, supply chain (planning, procurement, warehousing & distribution) and customer relationship management. She comes with a wealth of experience from within the UAC Group and a track record of achievement.

Hadiza joins us after a short break, following her last position as Head of Supply chain at UAC Foods. Prior to her role at UAC Foods, she held various positions in different UAC subsidiaries, including National Customer Service Manager at Chemical and Allied Products (CAPL), Depot Manager at MDS Logistics, Business Services Manager at UAC Restaurants and Supply Chain Manager in the same company. She also held several positions at Grand Cereals Limited including National Customer Service Manager, Business Efficiency and Planning Manager, and Human Resource Manager.

Hadiza holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Maiduguri and an MBA from the University of Jos. She is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Fellow of the African Centre for Supply Chain, Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, Fellow of the Institute of Logistics Management of Nigeria. She is also a Certified Warehouse Manager.

In her role as Head of Supply Chain Services, Hadiza has full responsibility for leading the Supply Chain function, encompassing Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics.

Sylvester Aighobahi
Head, Planning and Business Optimization

Sylvester Aighobahi is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional with over 20 years’ experience in end- to-end Supply Chain management. His supply chain experience spans across purchasing, distribution replenishment planning, production planning, material planning, inventory planning and Logistics. He has related experience in order management and customer service as well as importation and exportation process and management of clearing agents.

Prior to Grand Cereals Limited, Sylvester has held critical roles in Supply Chain Function in leading multinationals within the FMCG industry. He was Head, Supply Operations at Henkel Laundry & Home Care (Expand Global Industries Ltd); and Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager, Customer Services Executive, and Production Planning Manager at British American Tobacco Nigeria Ltd.

Sylvester holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from the University of Benin, an MBA in Production Planning and Project Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and an M. Sc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Salford University. Additionally, Sylvester is a Project Management Professional and a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

In his current role, Sylvester is responsible for developing and driving the implementation of strategies to optimize various aspects of our business and improve operational efficiencies. He provides leadership and guidance to stakeholders and departmental employees in managing an integrated demand and supply forecasting process and utilize the outputs and information to drive shipments, provide estimates and manufacturing guidance.

Theresa Akinola
Chief Financial Officer

Theresa is an experienced financial professional with over 20 years of experience in executive financial functions. Her experience cuts across FMCG, Oil and Gas, Banking, Auditing, and Internal controls.

She joined Grand Cereals Limited from BDO professionals a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Lagos Nigeria in February 2023. Prior to joining Grand Cereals Limited she has held executive finance position in CETCO Oil Field Servicing Company, Phoenix Ocean Line Limited where she performed incredibly well by improving the profitability of these organizations.

Theresa is a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is also a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).  Theresa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile-Ife.

In her current role at Grand Cereals Limited she is responsible for the finance function and oversees cost control and reduction, profitability, and liquidity improvement of the Company.

Adekusibe Aregbesola
Director of Sales

Adekusibe is an experienced sales manager with over 25 years of significant exposure across various industries including the FMCG, Telecommunications and Building Material industries. 

He brings to Grand Cereals Limited a wealth of experience in commercial capability development, sales, and key account management, channel development, distributor management and trade marketing. 

Prior to Grand Cereals Limited, Adekusibe served in various capacities for renowned multinationals and local organisations, some of which include Regional Director Deputy, and Capability Development Director, Dangote Cement Nigeria Plc; Senior Manager, Retail Channel & Trade Marketing, Airtel Networks Nigeria; Commercial Capability Development Manager, Coca-Cola Hellenic Group; and National Distributor Management Capability Manager, and Regional Distributor Development Manager, Guinness Nigeria Plc.

Adekusibe holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Management from Lagos State University, Ojo, and is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. He also holds a certificate in Remodelling Sales for Enhanced Productivity from the prestigious Lagos Business School (Pan-Africa University).

In his current role, he leads the sales function of Grand Cereals Limited, driving the execution of our sales strategy.

Chinedu Anazodo
Head of Marketing

Chinedu is a performance-driven marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience in the FMCG industry, with a vast experience cutting across sales and marketing.

He joined Grand Cereals Limited in November 2020 as the National Key Accounts Manager, responsible for restructuring the key accounts unit and tasked with building and maintaining a strong relationship with key accounts and drive overall business growth for GCL. He went on to assume the roles of National Sales Manager – Consumables, and Senior Marketing Manager prior to his appointment as Head of Marketing.

Chinedu began his career with British American Tobacco, where he held several positions cutting across Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing and Marketing Skills Development. Key roles included, Brand Manager Super Premium Brands (Dunhill and St. Moritz – Nigeria and Mali)  Brand Manager Premium Brands (Rothmans – Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Benin, Niger and Togo), Brand Manager Value for Money Brands (Pall Mall – Nigeria and Ghana), Senior Brand Manager Premium North Africa (Kent – Egypt, Algeria and Sudan), Regional Manager South-West Nigeria, Marketing Skills Manager, Senior Key Accounts Manager and prior to his exit, Head of Customer Management.
He also had a short engagement as a Training Consultant with Customer Passion Point Limited (CPPL).

Chinedu holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Lagos.
